Articles Menu
The Articles menu of Article List Window contains commands that affect articles. The menu has four items plus a list of commands that are available also as a right-click menu within the article list window. The first four items are:
With this command you can get BNR to download headers for this newsgroup again, to add new articles and hide expired articles. The result of running this command is the same as closing the article list and opening it again.
With this command you can re-run the file check for this article list window. BNR runs the file check automatically after all article headers have been downloaded, but if the information is no longer correct (for example, you have renamed some directories or moved files into different directories) you should re-run the file check. For more information see File Checking.
BNR runs the part check automatically simultaneously with the file check when the article headers have been downloaded. Part checking means that BNR will attempt to check which articles are segments of a large file and whether all parts of the file are available. If you wish to re-run the part check you can do so with this command. This is rarely necessary, though.
With this command you can run all the articles thru various plugins that have been configured for this newsgroup (see Plugins). BNR runs this automatically after running file check, but you can also run the plugins manually with this command.
